A Broken Piece of Esophageal Bougie Removed from the Infratemporal Fossa-Report of a Case

Abstract
|
|
|
This is a report of a case of foreign body in the left cheek.
The foreign body, identified as a wire piece of 11cm in length, was inserted into the cheek accidently during esophageal bouginage, which be employed as remedy for his gastric trouble.
The chief complaints on the following days of the accident were slight swallowing disturbance and difficulty of opening of the mouth. The wire piece was surgically extracted from the left infratemporal fossa.
